Soccer Shooting Clinic


We're going to run a soccer shooting clinic on Tuesday, Aug 31 630-815pm at Silver Terrace. You can sign up for the clinic at http://registration.sports4good.org. Cost is $25. Some of the cost is to help with the cost of the field permit. If your plans change after you sign up, you can send a replacement. No refunds or credits are given which is our consistent with our refund policy so please make sure you can be there by 6:30pm in order to get the most out of the clinic.

Sports4Good REMINDERS:

Forfeit Policy

Any forfeit automatically disqualifies your team from the playoffs. Exceptions are made only on a case by case basis. No forfeits are rescheduled. Refs and field permits are still paid regardless of whether a game is played. Notify S4G via email to 2pm on weekdays, or 5pm on Fridays for weekend games if your team must forfeit. We will notify your opponent and referees.

Fields that are turf and games are played rain or shine:
Youngblood, Silver Terrace, Franklin Square, Skyline, Pollicita, Crocker Amazon, S Sunset, and Gellert Park.

No dogs are allowed at any of the fields.

Please help pick up trash, even if it wasn't left by our group.

Display good sportsmanship whenever possible. This is a recreational league.

Schedules are always subject to change. Always check the schedule to make sure there isn't a venue or time change. Changes are only made if absolutely necessary. Captains will be notified before a change is made if it's within 7 days of a scheduled match.

 

NO ALCOHOL ALLOWED at ANY of the venues. Feel free to join any of our food and bar sponsors for after game gatherings.
Please make sure your rosters are accurate and all your players have Sports4Good player cards. Cards will be checked at playoffs and may also be checked during the regular season.

Do not recruit random folks that are hanging out at the field or gym to play for your team when you are short. We have no information on them if they do something dangerous or hurtful.  They may not understand the league intent and realize that this is a recreational league.

Interested in joining Sports4Good?

Some friendly tips...

1) Don't be afraid to commit to a new team. You never know who you'll meet and you may make some friends for life. There are many people that started off as individual players (free agents that signed up/paid) and now they have been together as a team for years.

2) When you commit, don't be flakey. Show up to games and even if you can't, pay dues to the captain so they don't have to pay out of pocket for you. If you can't show up to a game, give your captain at least 3 days notice so they can ask their friends to sub if they must have to.

3) For soccer, wear your shinguards! Don't wait for the ref to call you off the field.

4) For any sport, wear MATCHING jerseys if you have jerseys. If not, wear white (left column) or black (right column) as depicted on the schedule. For the life of me, I can't figure out how to create those headings on the schedule. It's driving me nuts and I've asked support...

5) If you know your team is short, check with your team or captain first and then recruit a friend to be a sub. To protect the league, pls make sure any subs that don't have a S4G card, submits a waiver at http://waiver.sports4good.org.

6) Be positive!!!
